![]() Yes, it is grindy, but that is what any ARPG is all about. If Grim Dawn implemented such a feature that rebuilt the world of Cairn at endgame in a similar manner it would be an instant hit! I am an avid Grim Dawn player and this sort of endgame feature does not exist there. I have been playing now for some +4 hours switching between the 3 characters and between mandates, expeditions and city improvement choices I am starting to see an actual game here? I dunno if I am lucky, or that just that my rig (quite old setup by the way) had zero issues, but I did not have a single crash and play was faultless and smooth. I have created 2 new characters in Champion of Stormfall mode now that my main character can assist in supplying and helping develop. You can use your higher level hitter to bash around in expeditions farming for items that can be used by your lower level characters whilst running low requirement Mandates with these characters until they get to level 40 all at the same time of gaining usable city build points. ![]() The plus to this mode is that it is SHARED amongst all of your same mode characters. ![]() ![]() I see most posters complain about this endgame mode? I actually think that this mode is far superior to the bugged Tutorial and Story modes, and the ability to start a new character DIRECTLY in this mode is a winner in my books. My one melee character actually then did manage to complete the story after one of the recent patches, (still had some Edric and other issues though, but restarting got me through him and the other 2 eventually), and I ended up in the Champion of Stormfall mode. I had a few early attempts at trying to complete the Wolcen story mode and was also plagued by the countless forum logged boss fight bugs and crashes and was almost at the stage of "just uninstall" I will actually give credit where credit is due! ![]()
